Electrical Controls Engineer

Responsibilities

Lead the electrical and controls design for advanced automated manufacturing robotic cells
Write and maintain PLC applications using Siemens TIA Portal
Design and debug control panels to industrial standards (NFPA 79, UL 508A). Develop and maintain electrical documentation, wiring diagrams, and bill of materials (BOMs)
Commission and debug automation systems on the production floor. Diagnose and resolve control system and hardware issues
Develop standards, documentation, and procedures for scalable automation deployment

Required

Bachelor's degree in an engineering, physics, or computer science discipline
Experience with Siemens automation systems and programming
Experience designing and commissioning electrical systems and panels to industrial safety standards
Strong skills in integrating sensors and performing risk assessments in accordance with safety standards such as ISO 13849 or ANSI B11
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex systems using diagnostic tools and lead structured root cause analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
