Junior Buyer

The Junior Buyer will manage all indirect purchasing activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services while collaborating with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Responsibilities
Manage sourcing and procurement for all indirect spend categories (MRO, facility services, logistics, IT, travel, professional services, etc.)
Execute purchase requisitions, prepare RFQs, and negotiate commercial terms with suppliers
Support the development and execution of category strategies to achieve cost reduction and efficiency goals
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, approval matrices, and audit requirements
Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver procurement solutions that meet operational needs
Track supplier performance metrics (delivery, quality, responsiveness) and initiate corrective actions when necessary
Conduct spend analysis and market benchmarking to identify sourcing opportunities
Collaborate with Finance on budgeting, cost tracking, and payment follow-ups
Support sustainability and supplier diversity initiatives where applicable
Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions in the ERP system
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering
3–4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in indirect procurement
Strong understanding of sourcing principles, cost analysis, and supplier negotiation
Experience with ERP systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience in manufacturing or engineering companies
Knowledge of indirect categories such as MRO, facilities, utilities, and logistics
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with operations, finance, and engineering teams
