This senior compliance counsel role involves advising the company on complex legal issues related to compliance and investigations, as well as conducting internal investigations and participating in compliance reviews.

Responsibilities

Undertaking a wide range of responsibilities, primarily involving the Company’s Code of Business Conduct (COBC) and compliance policies

Conducting internal investigations, including formulating investigation strategies, analyzing evidence, and conducting investigatory interviews

Participating in compliance reviews (audits) and risk assessments

Evaluating and recommending process enhancements to drive compliance

Assisting with special projects, benchmarking research, legal initiatives, and other administrative duties

Qualification

Required

Licensed to practice law in the US, a J.D. or L.L.M. is required

5+ years legal experience in compliance, either as outside counsel or in-house counsel

A Bachelors degree is required

Willing to travel internationally

Preferred

Spanish and/or Arabic language skills

Oilfield experience

Both in-house and outside counsel experience
