Responsibilities

Develop Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, and General Arrangement Drawings

Perform sizing calculations for equipment such as compressors, chillers, and pumps

Conduct process line sizing calculations

Size control valves, pressure relief devices, and orifices

Create equipment and instrument datasheets

Coordinate with vendors for the selection of instrumentation and equipment

Review and verify the work of other process engineers for accuracy and completeness

Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to integrate design inputs and activities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (other engineering degrees may be considered with relevant experience)

At least eight years of related experience or training

Proficient in ChemCad, AFT Fathom, and AFT Arrow for hydraulic pipe flow modeling

Must be able and willing to obtain a Q clearance

Professional Engineering (PE) License in Tennessee and/or South Carolina
