They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to support engineering tasks related to manufacturing equipment and processes, applying lean manufacturing techniques and conducting experiments as instructed.

Responsibilities
Support engineer’s daily tasks: design, develop and maintain robust, cost-efficient manufacturing equipment and processes consistent with lean manufacturing practices
Understand all assigned process and test requirements including the capability of processes and equipment
Perform root cause and failure analysis as required
Apply lean manufacturing techniques to processes
Plan and execute time studies and line balances
Develop and update standard manufacturing work instructions
Analyze work centers and implement safety and process improvements
Demonstrate ability to understand sources of variation and identify impact of tolerance stack ups in assemblies by applying Six Sigma design and development strategies
Develop and conduct experiments as instructed by engineering
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in your studies in either industrial engineering or related to that field
Eager to learn and positive attitude towards work
Flexibility and capability to work in a manufacturing
