Responsibilities

Performing design of facilities from the conceptual phase through design completion and construction
Working with project teams throughout the design and construction process, adapting plans, designs, production drawings and specifications according to budget constraints, regulatory requirements, or client needs
Researching and compiling of project-related data as required by the project managers
Preparing reports, studies, and cost estimates to help clients evaluate options and provide solutions
Support and lead civil and environmental permitting efforts
Assistant project management duties such as developing and executing project scope, budget, schedule, quality, safety, and client expectations
Provide construction phase support services and preparation of construction quality assurance (CQA) reports
Training / mentoring of staff
Developing new and maintaining existing client and regulatory relationships
Other duties, as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program and 3 years of civil or environmental engineering experience (consulting preferred) required; or Bachelor's Degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering or related Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program and successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and 3 years of environmental engineering experience (consulting preferred) required; or Master's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering and 2 years of environmental or civil engineering experience (consulting preferred) required
Available for travel as necessary (approximately 15% travel)
Strong knowledge in standard civil and environmental engineering techniques and procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills
Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, Civil 3D, and other programs)
Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills
