Responsibilities

Provide technical engineering support to Navy and Lockheed Martin customers for issues related to D5 Missile processing for the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program
Provide liaison between LM and its customers to ensure conformance to quality and technical requirements
Develop solutions to technical problems of varying complexity, perform in a team environment and work under the general direction of a group lead
Directly supports activities involving the handling, assembly, disassembly, testing and repair of missile, ordnance hardware and supporting equipment
Provide technical guidance and solutions within, but not limited to the following areas: Isolation and correction of anomalous/nonconforming missile hardware and support equipment, Development of test/troubleshooting plans for addressing missile package, component and systems test issues, Determination of compliance to and corrections of missile/missile-system processing and requirements documentation, Various special engineering studies
Provide technical guidance for maintenance, operation and repair of missile acceptance testing related support equipment

Conduct various special engineering studies

Understand electrical schematics and equipment design/functionality for troubleshooting
Have an understanding and ability to apply basic Electrical Engineering principles, theories and concepts
Candidate must be able to qualify for and maintain a Secret Security Clearance

Preferred

Mechanical background/abilities would be a plus
Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
Good written and verbal communication skills
Electrical/electronic equipment troubleshooting experience
Experience with using test and measurement equipment
Demonstrated understanding of programming/software algorithms and syntax (C++ & Linux)
Demonstrated analytical and problem skills
