Senior Electromechanical Designer
MAS HVAC is a company that provides custom, engineered air movement and heat exchange solutions for large air handling units. They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electromechanical Designer to join their team, specializing in data center cooling solutions and HVAC manufacturing, responsible for designing and developing electromechanical systems that integrate electrical and mechanical components.

Responsibilities
Create detailed electromechanical designs for HVAC and data cooling systems, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and mechanical layouts
Develop 3D models and assemblies using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
Ensure seamless integration of electrical components (motors, sensors, controllers) with mechanical systems (fans, compressors, heat exchangers)
Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to optimize performance and reliability
Prepare technical documentation, BOMs, and design specifications in compliance with industry standards (ASHRAE, UL, CE)
Maintain design records and revision control
Support prototype development and testing to validate design performance
Troubleshoot and resolve design issues during manufacturing and assembly
Work closely with manufacturing, quality, and project management teams to ensure designs meet cost, schedule, and quality targets
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or higher
3+ years of experience in electromechanical design, preferably in HVAC or data cooling systems
Proven track record in designing complex assemblies and electrical-mechanical integration
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent)
Strong understanding of electrical circuits, control systems, and mechanical design principles
Preferred
Experience with data center cooling technologies (CRAC units, liquid cooling, etc.)
Familiarity with thermal management, airflow analysis, and cooling technologies
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and DFM principles
