Responsibilities
APP ( NP or PA) opportunity with Carilion Clinic Family & Internal Medicine - Martinsville
Hours are Monday- Friday, 8-5
PAs and NPs who have worked within Family and Community Medicine for at least 1 year are expected and encouraged to precept PA and NP students from our partnering programs
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Current state Licensed Nurse Practitioner (LNP)
DEA license
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
AHA BLS-HCP certification
Able to work collaboratively with physicians and other health care providers
Demonstrates good written and oral communication skills
Computer literacy required for automated computer systems, including electronic medical records
Preferred
Advanced Life Support certification
