Responsibilities

Creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture in alignment with Danone Behaviors, respect and professionalism
Leading your team through the execution of the RTT DMSs and IWS Phase Journey
Leading communication between shifts, team members and facility leaders and escalate to management/IWS Trio’s accordingly
Minimizing incidents (Safety and Quality) and unplanned stops
Tracking and Reporting shift daily metric
Assigning team members to workstations and delegate tasks appropriately
Leading problem solving and decision-making processes in a cross functional group (use of 6W2H, Fishbone, Why-Why) to get to root cause and develop standards to address, use of OPL’s to share learnings
Maintain process and product quality on production line to meet quality specification including all documentation and QMS standards
Support plant Compelling Business Needs (CBN)
Lead and ensure individual and team training plans to build capability through coaching and the development of skill profiles
Ensure compliance with regulatory and plant requirements
Conduct Daily Management Systems (DMS) health checks
Engage team members in safety discussions daily, have discussions with team to address safety behaviors and corrections if applicable and complete root cause analysis and safety alert for incidents in the area
Coordinates, develops and coaches the team, and sporadically operates workstation in cases of business need
Team Leader role does not have the right to hire, promote, demote, and transfer employees; the right to discipline or discharge employees for just cause

Required

HS diploma or equivalent
Ability to lead and motivate others to meet business demands
In depth understanding of and commitment to established values and strategy
Basic understanding of computers
Mechanically inclined
Good oral and written communication skills
Basic math skills
Ability to resolve conflicts effectively
Ability to perform root cause analysis/problem solving

Preferred

2-3 years manufacturing experience
Certification to operate lifts and other required equipment
