Crawford Thomas Recruiting is seeking a results-driven Account Executive to sell high-value event sponsorships and media advertising within the cybersecurity industry. This role involves managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close, with a focus on driving revenue through sponsorships and advertising in a high-impact environment.
Responsibilities
Sell full-page ads in a quarterly industry publication ($40K per placement)
Sell sponsorships & exhibitor packages for a major annual cybersecurity conference
Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of cybersecurity and tech partners
Collaborate with marketing and events teams to create compelling sponsor packages
Ensure sponsor deliverables are executed properly
Track performance and report on revenue metrics
Qualification
Required
3–5+ years of sponsorship, media, or exhibitor sales experience
Strong understanding of the cybersecurity industry and key players
Proven ability to close large sponsorship and advertising deals
Highly organized, self-motivated, and performance driven
Preferred
Experience Selling Expo, Conference, Or Media Placements Strongly Preferred
