Responsibilities
Interpret Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM’s), assembly blueprints, drawings, schematics, and engineering specifications
Use a variety of hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and ESD equipment to ensure conformance to drawings and specifications
Build, test, and repair/overhaul a variety of aircraft components and sub-assemblies
Cleans, assembles, disassembles, and replaces parts as required
Records time on labor sheets for each process of repaired
Inspects all parts for cleanliness and flaws
Sends repaired products to test or to quality assurance final inspection
Qualification
Required
Must be willing to work overtime including some Saturday mornings
1-2 years electro-mechanical accessory experience; however, new Aircraft & Powerplant graduates will be considered
Must be able to pass DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol test (marijuana usage is NOT permitted)
Experience working in a repair and overhaul environment
Read and interpret CMM's, part drawings, schematics, and specifications
High School diploma, GED, trade school certification or experience equivalent
Computer literate. This position requires basic working knowledge of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc.)
Must have working knowledge of basic shop math and be able to complete basic electrical formulas
Must be able to use a variety of assembly hand tools and precision measuring instruments accurately and efficiently, such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators
Preferred
Prior experience working in a fast-paced FAA Part 145 Repair Station environment
A working knowledge of Part 145 Regulations
Experience using MRP computer systems
Airframe & Power Plant Certificate
