Responsibilities
Monitor and manage budgets for R&D projects, ensuring alignment with financial targets
Oversee financial reporting, cost tracking, and invoice validation against contractual terms
Collaborate with the Global R&D controlling to ensure budgetary compliance and timely financial transactions
Support audit readiness and contribute to financial structure development for new labs or entities
Lead sourcing activities including RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation in cooperation with Calvert and Dofasco procurement teams
Ensure procurement activities for the Tandem comply with ArcelorMittal’s policies and legal standards
Maintain supplier relationships and performance tracking to ensure quality and timely delivery
Manage procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and evaluation reports
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess procurement needs and technical specifications
Support ERP and asset management and opex system updates related to procurement
Participate in project kick-off meetings and monitor contract execution milestones
Manage the reporting for procurement and finance activities
Carry out strategic analyses with Tandem management
Propose progress plans and/or simulations to the Leadership Team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement and financial operations, preferably in R&D or industrial environment
Proficiency in SAP and procurement platforms
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Strategic thinking and decision-making
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage complex stakeholder relationships
Attention to detail and commitment to compliance
