Responsibilities
Develop secure, intuitive, fast, and visually appealing payment components used across Tesla’s diverse business lines, supporting our expansion into new markets and partnerships
Apply first-principles thinking to optimize processes and practices, enhancing customer experiences
Collaborate with other engineering team to design and implement solutions end to end
Prioritize clear, comprehensive documentation for new features and ensure compatibility with existing integrations
Demonstrate ability to communicate and collaborate effectively at all levels in the organization and across multiple disciplines
Qualification
Required
5+ years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, proof of exceptional skills in related field, or equivalent experience
Proficient in Node.js, Express, TypeScript
Have a working knowledge of Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Fuze
Proficient in building Scalable Architectures
Prior experience and track record of delivering secure, high-performance, and pixel-perfect web applications
Passion for Tesla's mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy
Preferred
Experience with React Native, iOS, Android, or cross-platform UI design system packages is a plus
