Assistant Research Professor of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery
Indiana University is seeking candidates for a non-tenure track Assistant Research Professor position in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. The role involves developing methods to improve human pluripotent stem cell-derived inner ear organoids, assessing cellular mechanisms in the inner ear, writing grant applications, and supervising research personnel.

Responsibilities
Developing new methods to improve the fidelity of human pluripotent stem cell-derived inner ear organoids using tissue engineering approaches
Developing techniques to assess cellular/molecular mechanisms underlying pathological conditions in the inner ear
Writing grant applications
Supervising post-doctoral fellows, research technicians and/or graduate/undergraduate students in the lab
Qualification
Required
Doctorate or terminal degree required
Candidates must have a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Stem Cell Biology, Neuroscience or related fields
Candidates must also have minimum 2 years of post-doctoral research experience in inner ear biology and peer-reviewed publications
Extensive research experience in stem cell biology, tissue engineering, and single-cell RNA-sequencing is required
