Responsibilities
Support extract-transform-load (ETL) activities including understanding of the data sources, research questions, and data quality assessment
Acquire and analyze data and create large and complex analytic datasets to support Data Model refreshes by accessing various sources/systems
Contribute to the maintenance and refresh of the infrastructure required for running complex queries and generating insights to support business objectives
Review results, identify quality issues, and perform root cause analysis as well as document findings and other Data Management Plan items
Support analytical, and research activities related to Real-Word evidence generation
Use SAS, SQL, Python, as the primary data management tools
Collaborate with individuals in other time zones and locations
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience with SAS programming
3+ years' experience with healthcare claims data analysis
3+ years' experience with extract-transform-load data files
Experience in preparation and data management plan/ documentation
Experience working with and integrating large datasets from multiple sources
Experience with the FDA on research initiatives and data driven projects
Proficient with multi-tasking
Must be self-directed
Be able to critical think through problems
Masters Preferred, Bachelors Required
Preferred
Experience in SAS, SQL, R, Google Cloud Platform, GitHub, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
Experience with the Real-World Data research initiatives and evidence driven projects
Adapt and create with assistance production processes to automate routine data management tasks
