They are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support the Finance team with critical posting functions, including processing Accounts Payable invoices, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP.

Responsibilities
Review and process invoices, purchase orders, and employee expense reports
Ensure proper coding, approvals, and adherence to company policies
Manage vendor relationships, respond to inquiries, and resolve discrepancies
Prepare weekly payment runs and maintain AP aging reports
Assist with 1099 preparation and year-end compliance requirements
Prepare, review, and post journal entries to ensure accuracy and completeness
Reconcile general ledger accounts, including cash, prepaid expenses, accruals, and fixed assets
Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with US GAAP
Support consolidated reporting across multiple entities, including inter company reconciliations
Assist in preparing financial statements, schedules, and supporting documentation
Partner with external auditors during audits by providing requested materials
Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting best practices
Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and system enhancements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2–4 years of accounting experience (mix of GL and AP preferred)
Solid understanding of US GAAP and general accounting practices
Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar)
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations)
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
