Postdoctoral Research Fellow – Stark Neurosciences Research Institute
Indiana University is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the Dage Lab at the IU School of Medicine. The role focuses on developing precision medicine approaches for diagnosing neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Alzheimer’s disease, through the discovery of blood-based biomarkers, and involves working with multidisciplinary investigators in a national consortium.

Develop precision medicine approaches for diagnosing neurodegenerative diseases
Conduct research in Alzheimer’s disease and related neurodegenerative disorders
Establish a national consortium for Alzheimer’s diagnosis in older adults with chronic conditions
Work with clinical, imaging, biomarker, and genetics data across multiple studies
Qualification
Required
Candidates must have an MD/PHD or Ph.D. or in Neuroscience, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, or a related field prior to the start of the appointment
Prior experience in Alzheimer's disease and related dementia research is highly desirable
Strong background in statistical data analysis
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Experience with and computational biology
Preferred
Familiarity with biomarker assay discovery and development
Experience with multi-omics approaches (proteomics, genomics, metabolomics)
