Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-power microwave amplifiers (TWTs) throughout the product lifecycle
Use advanced simulation tools to create electromagnetic designs and improve existing products
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure robust electrical and thermomechanical designs
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for yield and reliability issues
Plan and execute engineering activities, including failure analysis and product development
Monitor product lines for performance improvements and manufacturability enhancements
Prepare technical input for proposals and customer communications
Ensure compliance with corporate, government, and contractual requirements

Qualification

Required

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics with 0–2 years experience, or Bachelor's with 2–5 years
Knowledge of RF/microwave electronics, power electronics, and high-voltage practices
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance

Preferred

Familiarity with HFSS, CST, or similar simulation tools; Python programming is a plus
Understanding of ISO/AS9100 and Lean Six Sigma principles
