This position is responsible for performing technical accounting duties related to payroll preparation, processing, reconciliation, and auditing to ensure the timely and accurate payment of employees.

Responsibilities
Perform technical payroll duties including preparation, processing, reconciliation, and auditing
Compile and prepare reports on earnings, deductions, leave balances, and non-taxable wages
Process and adjust payroll deductions (benefits, retirement contributions, voluntary withholdings); resolve discrepancies
Reconcile and maintain payroll-related records and reports (digital and manual)
Review and audit payroll data for accuracy; make corrections as necessary
Remain current on payroll-related laws, codes, and regulations
Communicate with staff and external agencies to resolve discrepancies and provide wage verification
Ensure accurate deduction calculations for leaves in collaboration with colleagues
Qualification
Required
Any combination of experience and education providing knowledge and ability in clerical, financial record-keeping, payroll, or related fields
High school graduation required; coursework in payroll/accounting or related fields preferred
