Research and Development Engineering Undergraduate Intern
The Applied Research Laboratory at Penn State University is seeking engineering undergraduate interns to work part-time with senior technical staff. The role involves researching, designing, developing, integrating, and testing advanced wireless RF communications systems.

Algorithm development and/or software design
Develop C/C++ or equivalent code to interface with developed hardware and associated interfaces (SPI, I2C, etc)
Integration of Software Defined Radio (SDR) hardware/software components as appropriate
Evaluate/develop communication security protocols
Qualification
Required
Interest in software development and design
Interest in signal processing
Interest in digital logic and hardware development
Ability to obtain a government security clearance
Must be a U.S. citizen
Successful completion of background check(s)
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen
