Samaritan's Purse is seeking a UX/UI Product Designer to join our Information Technology department. The role involves designing and shaping the user experience and visual identity of digital products that support the ministry's objectives, collaborating closely with product teams and developers to create intuitive and accessible interfaces.

Responsibilities

Design wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and final UI deliverables for digital products

Collaborate with product teams to understand user needs and translate business goals into engaging design solutions

Conduct user research and usability testing and gather feedback to inform iterative design improvements

Work closely with product developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and address UI/UX issues post-launch

Develop and maintain a consistent visual language, including design systems, style guides, and UI patterns

Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure design alignment with product objectives

Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UX design, accessibility, and front-end technology

Required

Bachelor's degree from a four (4) year college or university in design, human-computer interaction, or related field; and three (3) to five (5) years of experience in UI/UX design

A relevant combination of education and experience would also be considered

Thorough knowledge in one or more areas: design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar), responsive design, accessibility standards, and cross-platform UI development

12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, opportunity to meet and complete requirement is available upon hire

Fluency in English (required)
