Responsibilities

Design and develop robotic systems with a focus on liquid handling applications (e.g., pipetting, dispensing, mixing)
Program and integrate automation platforms and vision systems using industry-standard software tools
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in robotic hardware, software, and system integration
Configure and calibrate machine vision systems for object recognition, alignment, and quality control
Support validation and verification efforts, including writing protocols and reports
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system specifications, user manuals, and maintenance procedures
Collaborate cross-functionally with scientists, engineers, and project managers to meet technical and timeline requirements
Provide administrative and project support, including tracking project milestones, coordinating vendors, and managing system configurations

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
3–10 years of hands-on experience in liquid handling systems (e.g., Tecan, Hamilton, Beckman Coulter, or custom platforms)
3–10 years of hands-on experience in robotic automation (industrial arms, lab automation platforms)
3–10 years of hands-on experience in machine vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence, OpenCV, HALCON)
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, LabVIEW, or proprietary automation scripting languages
Familiarity with control systems, motion control, and I/O interfacing
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
