Sales Manager/Assistant General Manager
Encore Interiors is a rapidly growing, high-end furniture and home accessory consignment store. They are seeking a Sales Manager/Assistant General Manager to oversee daily operations, improve customer service, drive sales, and ensure profitability while leading a team and maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities
Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
Maintains store staffing by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
Consistently provides continuing education to the Sales Staff
Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements
Strategizing sales and marketing plans to drive revenue into the store
Setting sales targets for the sales teams and periodically reviewing the same
Handling everyday money transactions after the day's transactions have ended
Secures merchandise by implementing security systems and measures
Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment
Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements
Determines marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and store sales records
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed
Overseeing inventory of related store items
Educating the employees of the store who are related to sales about the nature of newly arrived items, promotions, category initiatives, etc
Being available at all times to assist with sales particularly during exceptionally busy times
The Sales Manager/Assistant General Manager will be cross trained on all aspects and departments of the business to enable proper oversight and assistance to each area when necessary
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years Retail Management experience
Responsible for planning and directing the day-to-day operations of the retail store
Develop strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales and increase profitability
Ensure customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient
Lead and direct the work of others
Work closely with Ownership to assure that the store is kept presentable
Ensure customer service is always at the forefront of all tasks
