Alpha is a new US based, non-profit University planning to offer doctoral programs. They are seeking Founding Board Members who are committed to education, equity, and global impact, to help shape the vision and sustainability of the university.

Responsibilities

Serve as an active ambassador for the mission and programs
Identify and engage donors, grants, and corporate partners aligned with our cause
Provide strategic input on governance, compliance, and program development
Attend quarterly virtual board meetings and occasional special sessions
Contribute professional expertise (education, business, nonprofit, law, tech, healthcare, or philanthropy)

Required

Deep commitment to education, equity, and global impact

Passionate about helping displaced or marginalized individuals rebuild their lives through education
Collaborative, visionary, and generous with ideas, networks, and time
Ability to serve as an active ambassador for the mission and programs
Identify and engage donors, grants, and corporate partners aligned with our cause
Provide strategic input on governance, compliance, and program development
Attend quarterly virtual board meetings and occasional special sessions
Contribute professional expertise (education, business, nonprofit, law, tech, healthcare, or philanthropy)

Preferred

Spanish or Portuguese fluency is helpful but not required
