Work with a variety of medical personnel to complete scheduling functions

Required

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation

Minimum Required: None

Two years secretarial experience or in a healthcare related field

Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite to include word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, communication, and database components

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position

Preferred

Graduate of a medical assistant, health unit coordinator, medical office specialist, medical transcribing, medical secretary, secretarial science or equivalent program

Successful completion of a post-secondary medical terminology course

Three years secretarial experience and three years' experience in a healthcare related field

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire
