Responsibilities
Support of plant data Historian application and servers
Custom application development and use of common scripting languages including Python and PowerShell
Use of Application Programming Interfaces (API) to automate new and existing processes
Testing and implementation of upgrades to commercial software applications
Develop training for operations personnel on data historian tools and applications
Executing projects in accordance with budgets, standards, and facility operating schedules
Participating in technical sales and business development activities
Qualification
Required
A B.S. degree in Computer Science or Engineering; or similar IT related degree
Must have very strong technical skill sets
Must have a positive attitude, be willing to quickly adapt to changing situations, have strong communications skills, and a strong will to build and maintain productive relationships across departmental lines
Must be a self-starter and ability to work independently and participate on cross-functional teams
Must be able to manage multiple priorities, drive issues to completion, and obtain results
Must be detail-oriented with an ability and desire to persevere
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Must be able and willing to travel to other domestic regions and office locations. Travel is normally not expected to exceed 25%
Preferred
A 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) out of 4.0 is highly desirable
0 - 3 years of experience preferred
Prior internship or co-op experience preferred
