Responsibilities

Reports to Project Manager for implementing specific Geotechnical works in accordance with the work program of the project

Verifies that all Geotechnical analysis, designs, drawings and documents are to current codes and standards and in accordance with ECG policies and standards

Simultaneously manage multiple projects including the supervision, scheduling, training and mentoring of lower level engineers and technicians

Apply technical knowledge and methods to formulate solutions and approaches to complex problems in the area of geotechnical engineering, including field exploration methods and procedures, planning studies, preparation of reports and geotechnical recommendations, design of deep and shallow foundation systems for all types of structures, retaining wall systems, slope stability analyses, forensic evaluations and engineering services during construction

Required

10-15 years of experience

Experience in geotechnical analysis specially in retaining structures and side slope stability

In-depth knowledge of the principals and standards of geotechnical engineering, engineering geology, soil and rock mechanics, groundwater hydrology, and foundation design

Excellent computer skills are required including experience with the Microsoft Office suite of programs, Geo-Slope suite of programs REVIT and AutoCAD systems

Comprehensive Knowledge of modern and complex principles and practices of Geotechnical engineering in order to design and design review

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work professionally with persons at all levels
