Responsibilities

Serve as the technical sales expert for control valves, actuators, and valve automation systems
Drive new business development and expand accounts through a solutions-oriented approach
Collaborate with customers to specify engineered-to-order valve solutions for severe service applications
Conduct site visits and application reviews to gather process data and build long-term customer trust
Prepare accurate quotations and collaborate with Inside Sales, Engineering, and Vendor teams
Represent Rust and our manufacturers at industry events, training sessions, and customer audits

Qualification

Technical sales experienceControl valve applicationsReading P&IDsCRM tools familiarityBachelor's degree in EngineeringCommunication skillsInterpersonal skills

Required

Proven experience in technical sales or applications engineering in the valve or process automation industry
Working knowledge of control valve applications, sizing, and specifications
Ability to read P&IDs, technical drawings, and understand industrial process environments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
Familiarity with CRM tools, quoting platforms, and vendor configurators
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering preferred (or equivalent experience)
