The Los Angeles Dodgers are offering a People Operations Intern position for a 3-month program. The intern will assist with various projects related to compliance, recruiting, onboarding, and employee benefits while gaining practical experience in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

Update internal databases with employee information such as contact details and employment forms

Learn about the company’s policies, employee benefits, and other People Ops -related matters to be able to respond to any internal staff inquiries

Participate in organizing company events and activities (planning, setup, staffing)

Prepare materials and craft content for employee communications using Canva, PowerPoint, Home Plate (company Intranet) and other related software

Post job advertisements to internal job board

Support onboarding for part-time game day and front office staff

Audit I-9 forms and ensure all documents are filed accurately and remain confidential

Assist with the employee Wellness Program

Answer high volume of calls throughout the day and occasionally cover the reception desk

Provide administrative support to Human Resources team

Help support People Ops team with Dodgers employee incentives (FPIC, Sell-Out Cookies)

Must have a valid California Driver's License, with a verifiable safe driving record, and safely operate a company supplied motor vehicle, daily, for duties related to this position

Must be a rising sophomore, junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree OR are currently enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution

Must be available to live and work in Los Angeles or your assigned office location throughout the duration of your 3-month program during the summer months

Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States

Passionate about working for a professional sports team
