Senior Director - Infusion Business Strategy & Performance

This role is responsible for shaping the strategic vision and driving growth within Mercy’s Infusion service line, ensuring operational excellence and aligning business performance with the mission of delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

Work with other organizational leaders to set the strategic vision for Mercy’s Infusion business line
Execute the strategic vision, driving growth, efficiency, and superior patient outcomes
Lead financial strategies and performance initiatives for entire infusion portfolio, including full P&L accountability, forecasting, and profitability optimization
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, developing financial and operational models for service expansion and innovation
Analyze and act on key financial drivers within infusion services to enhance sustainability and market competitiveness
Administer and optimize vendor partnerships, including Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) and pharmaceutical contracts, ensuring cost efficiency and supply reliability
Support payor contract strategy and execution, aligning reimbursement models with organizational goals
Provide executive leadership for the Infusion operations team, maintaining ultimate accountability for team performance, engagement, and alignment with Mercy’s standards of quality and patient care

Required

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience, with demonstrated success in healthcare operations or business strategy
Prior experience in infusion services required
Proven knowledge of drug pricing markets, GPOs, and payor contracting
Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of a health system
