Responsibilities
Plan the software product deployment and integration work
Develop sw tools for the integration team
Implement software installation, configuration, integration and migration work
Prepare, document, and complete module test, end-to-end test, and acceptance test
Troubleshoot, identify defects, fix or seek resolution
Do occasional scripting & coding
Work in Ericsson lab, customer lab, and customer production environment
Identify and drive product or process improvements
Work in a team environment with excellent collaboration and support
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Master's / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (IT, Telecom) or other relevant technical field
Technical approach
Understanding of Mobile Telecom (Packet Core both for 4G and 5GC)
Understanding of OpenStack, Networking and Virtualization
Virtualization Technologies (i.e. KVM, SR-IOV, DPDK, vmWare, Kubernetes)
Understand Network function virtualization architecture and integration points
Have experience in Linux OS installation, administration, and scripting
You have an innovative and creative spirit and are willing to do things differently
Strategic mind, with ability to span into tactical as needed
2.7+ GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent
Available for a full-time internship for 12 weeks
Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or Masters on a full-time basis at a 4-year college or university at the time of the internship
Preferred
Develop technical presentations & proposals & perform customer presentations
Support deployment of solution and work in a DevOps environment
Experience in crafting test automations
