Software Engineer Manager, Fabric Routing

Responsibilities

Establish and communicate team priorities that support the broader organization's goals while aligning strategy, processes, and decision-making across teams
Define clear expectations with individuals based on their level and role and aligned to the broader organization's goals, meet regularly with them to discuss performance and development and provide feedback and coaching
Develop the mid-term technical goal and roadmap within the scope of multiple teams and evolve it to meet anticipated future requirements and infrastructure needs
Lead the Fabric Routing team's continued growth to meet enormous new issues in capacity, scale, and feature set presented by AL/ML use cases in the software-defined network control plane
Form a new team within Fabric Routing focused on enabling velocity for the organization by areas making substantial improvements to key enabling components, such as tooling, testing, and infrastructure

Required

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience in software development
3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role
2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role
Experience in networking, project management, mentoring, leadership, test infrastructure, and scalability

Preferred

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field
3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization
