Responsibilities
Analyze and evaluate existing production processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Implement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce waste
Develop and manage production schedules, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to meet production goals
Enforce quality control measures to maintain product standards and minimize defects in manufacturing processes
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including management, production staff, and other engineers, to implement improvements and ensure smooth operations
Utilize statistical methods and engineering tools to analyze production data, forecast trends, and provide data-driven recommendations for process enhancements
Train employees on new procedures and technologies, ensuring that all staff are equipped to meet production standards and safety regulations
Create manufacturing processes, layouts, routings, and drawings
Resolve manufacturing problems using statistical tools and continuous improvement methods
Participate in product process design reviews
Generate machine and production process capacity and capability studies
Implement, promote, and maintain a safe work environment by implementing a culture of zero accidents including prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control, and administer risk and danger in own area and manufacturing processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution
Minimum of Three (3) of experience in a technical role supporting industrialization, processes, or related engineering function in a manufacturing or industrial settings, including internships or co-op programs
