Responsibilities

Monitor various security systems such as CCTV, access control, alarms, and open-source intelligence platforms for potential threats and incidents
Respond to alarms, security breaches, and other incidents by following established protocols, dispatching security personnel or emergency services as needed, and documenting all actions
Ensure all security systems and equipment are functioning properly and report any issues or malfunctions
Analyze security threats and vulnerabilities, assess their potential impact, and provide recommendations for mitigation
Communicate effectively with internal teams, external agencies (e.g., law enforcement, emergency services) during incidents
Accurately document all security-related incidents, investigations, and other relevant information in a clear and concise manner
Keep abreast of current security threats, trends, and best practices to ensure the safety and security of the organization

Required

2 years of experience in the Private Security Sector, Law Enforcement, or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of security alarm monitoring principles, dispatching, and coordinating resource allocation
Proven ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
Proficiency in using security technology, systems, and software applications such as ProWatch, Milestone, Avigilon, Crisis24, Intrusion Detection, or other Access Control and CCTV security applications
Strong organizational and time management skills: ability to work independently and as part of a team; excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Familiarity with emergency management and incident response procedures

Preferred

Associate degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or other relevant field preferred
