Responsibilities
Work Order Management - Receive, prioritize and schedule Maintenance Work Orders and track progress
Develop and Maintain PM schedules, track progress, and effectiveness
Maintain an accurate inventory of critical spare parts
Coordinate with purchasing for the ordering of parts
Negotiate with contractors and vendors for reasonable pricing and ensuring that the scope of the work is correct
Communicate priorities, delays, updates, and completion of work orders to the maintenance team and the operations team
Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and downtime
Establish the correct scorecard measurables for each quarter and maintain them
Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in a safe manner
Support root cause analysis of safety incidents
Utilize the Upkeep Maintenance Management System to manage work orders and assets
Assist in budgeting and cost control for the maintenance team
Support capital projects and equipment installations
Other duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Education or practical experience in technical / engineering / manufacturing field
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Ability to effectively manage priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Experience and understanding in hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems
