ASU Enterprise Partners is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Arizona State University and its affiliates. The Student Customer Service Specialist plays a key role in daily operations by providing excellent customer service, performing reception duties, and assisting with various office tasks to ensure smooth facility operations.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service for all guests, visitors, and employees
Display professional demeanor at all times
Offer a warm and welcoming environment by proactively greeting and directing visitors and answering questions
Perform reception desk duties on behalf of ASUEP and its affiliates, including the ASU Foundation
Responsible for coordinating all aspects of conference center reservations to ensure accuracy and assist with room setup to customer standards which includes moving and arranging tables and chairs
Perform daily tasks needed to support the daily operations of the ASUEP facilities
Assist with daily mail room operations and conduct daily deliveries
Oversee all aspects of company vehicles and golf carts
Oversee and conduct scheduled inventory/restock/ordering of all supplies
Organize supply rooms, mail room, storage rooms and galley areas
Provide basic audio-visual support
Operate a multi-line phone system, receiving and screening calls, re-directing caller as appropriate
Provide parking validation for guests
Assist with special projects
Other tasks as requested or assigned

Required

Collaborative style, combined with the ability and desire to work in a team-based environment
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and responsibility regarding information related to Enterprise Partners, its affiliates and University business and confidential prospect information
Strong and collegial interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing, and by phone
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Problem solver who can take initiative and set priorities while being flexible
Team-oriented strategist able to effectively manage complex situations involving numerous and sometimes competing constituencies
Ability to represent the institution well and possess an advocate's belief in the vision of ASU as the New American University
Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing assigned duties
Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects
Adept at navigating complex environments with evolving priorities and communication plans
Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word
A current student at Arizona State University pursuing a degree in a related field with a willingness to learn and ability to work well with others
Student must be willing to sign and abide by a confidentiality agreement
Student must possess a valid driver's license and have a driving record in good standing
