The State of Missouri is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join their Portal Development Team within the Office of Administration's Information Technology Services Division. This role is focused on ITSM implementation and developing user-centered solutions on the ServiceNow platform, promoting innovation and continuous improvement in government services.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows to support ITSM and other enterprise service delivery needs
Promote platform adoption by mentoring peers, sharing best practices, and helping establish a ServiceNow Center of Excellence to scale knowledge and innovation across teams
Develop and maintain detailed specifications for projects built within ServiceNow
Provide day-to-day general support, administration, and maintenance of applications and workflows built in ServiceNow
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow functionality, integrations, and performance
Create and maintain reports and dashboards

Qualification

Required

Proven ability to design, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and workflows
Experience with ServiceNow Studio, App Engine, and Scoped Applications
Hands-on ServiceNow development experience, particularly in ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Experience with programming languages such as HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript
Ability and Willingness to learn new things in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable with assisting other developers and providing training and support
Passion for strategic planning and process improvement
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Successful background check results are required for employment in this position
Knowledge of the supported business area
Ability to understand client's needs and technical requirements and implement solutions
Ability to identify and resolve programming issues
Ability to respond to changing priorities
Ability to collaborate with other professionals

Preferred

Front-facing UX/UI development experience preferred
