Responsibilities
Operate all NC machines, including Thermwoods
Support all NC’s by performing the final inspection of parts
Loading/unloading parts and tools and part preparation
Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment
Maintain an accurate E-log, 5-S, and housekeeping to customer requirement
Individuals could be asked to operate different machines on their shift
Department or area specific expectations will be further defined by supervisor/manage
Individual will support team efforts and product process by performing any operation or tasks deemed necessary by customer requirements, team consensus, and/or supervisor/manager
Works in a team environment to reach consensus decisions within the guidelines and boundaries established by the company, and maintains constructive relationships with co-workers
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
Minimum of six months experience required, preferably in manufacturing
Must be able to maintain a quality delegate stamp or attain and retain a quality delegate stamp
Must follow all safety guidelines
Must be a capable forklift operator
Familiar with PC computer systems
Possess good organizational and administrative skills
Able to develop audit reports and write non-conforming records as required
Preferred
Basic working knowledge of computer data entry function
