Responsibilities
Provides strategic oversight for branch operations and ensures program quality, innovation, and alignment with Association goals while fostering strong community partnerships and meeting direct revenue goals
Leads, coaches, and develops staff and volunteers to achieve operational excellence and mission impact
Oversees branch budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls to ensure fiscal responsibility and achievement of revenue and expense targets
Leads the center’s annual campaign and other philanthropic initiatives, building strong relationships with donors, volunteers, and community partners
Partners with the Center Advisory Board and community leaders to cultivate effective volunteer engagement, board recruitment, and governance practices that advance the mission and ensure long-term sustainability
Collaborates with Association leadership to implement strategic and operational initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational standards
Models YMCA values in all actions and decisions to drive mission impact
Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure the success of the YMCA and its mission-driven work
Qualification
Required
3 or more years of successful high level operations and management/ leadership experience in a fast-paced environment
Ability to direct total operations through volunteer development, supervision of staff, development and monitoring of Branch budget, marketing and public relations, and program development
Ability to establish and maintain collaborations with community organizations, municipalities, and corporate partners
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in human services, social services, business or equivalent preferred
Experience in management and development of volunteer involvement; ability to recruit top community leaders to Center board preferred
Prefer knowledge of, and previous experience with, diverse populations
Y Multi-Team or Organizational Leader preferred
