Responsibilities

Design, code, and deploy high-quality software at an accelerated pace. Create rapid prototypes and iterate quickly based on feedback

Bring fresh ideas and creative solutions to the table as the team works with enterprise data

Work closely with a small, experienced team. Engage in design and code reviews to ensure best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Have a direct and significant impact on Google's Cloud enterprise customers

Address ambiguous problems and find creative solutions. Debug, track, and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring high reliability and performance

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or Go

5 years of experience testing, and launching software products

3 years of experience with software design and architecture

Preferred

Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field

8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms

3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction

3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects
