Civil Engineer - Site Design - 2-5 years experience - Hybrid
raSmith is a growing multi-disciplinary consulting civil and structural engineering and land surveying firm with over 45 years of experience. The Civil Engineer in Site Design Services will contribute to a variety of projects that positively impact communities across the country, focusing on site engineering plans and stormwater management.

Responsibilities
Pre-development due diligence, exhibit preparation, preparation of site engineering plans, including site and paving plans, grading plans, erosion control plans, and utility plans
Performance of hydrologic and hydraulic calculations and preparing stormwater management plans and reports
Completing regulatory authority research and permitting
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from a U.S. accredited college or university
At least 2 to 5 years of experience in design of site related elements for retail, commercial, industrial, multi-family residential, hospitality, or mixed-use development/redevelopment projects
Experience in water distribution and sewer collection systems design, parking lots and roads, erosion and sediment control, from initial project planning through construction
Able to solve basic engineering problems and have good decision-making skills
Have excellent communication, detail orientation, interpersonal skills, and be a team player
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydrology and hydraulics software, and Microsoft Office
Applicable U.S. based work experience
Preferred
EIT certification or Professional Engineering licensure is highly preferred
