They are looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented Drafting Intern to assist with making detail and assembly drawings, learning Solid Edge, and working on various drafting projects.

Responsibilities

Makes detail drawings and assembly drawings from solid models created by Sr. Designers, Designers, and Sr. Drafters
Learns Solid Edge knowledge and skills
Works on simple Drafting Projects
Revise drafts and models, directed by Sr. Designers, Designers, and Sr. Drafters
Checks own work

Qualification

DraftingAutodesk RevitSolid EdgeOrganizational skillsSheet metal experienceCommunication skillsTeamwork

Required

Must have Drafting and Design classes and currently be working towards a Certificate or Associates Degree in Computer Drafting and Design Technology field (or related)
Ability to work in a team environment
Possess excellent communication and computer skills
Possess excellent organizational skills

Preferred

Experience in a sheet metal manufacturing environment a plus
A working knowledge of Autodesk Revit BIM software a plus
