Responsibilities
Analyze project blueprints and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates
Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements and timelines
Source and evaluate suppliers for materials and services needed for projects
Prepare detailed and itemized estimates for commercial painting projects
Track project costs and provide updates to management as necessary
Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals to secure new projects
Review and negotiate contracts with clients and vendors
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as an Estimator in the commercial painting industry
Strong knowledge of painting materials, coatings, and application techniques
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams
Preferred
Project management skills are a plus, but not required
