Senior LevelHarrisburg University of Science and Technology is seeking a Faculty member for their Data Science and Analytics program. The role involves on-site teaching and mentoring graduate students while contributing to the development of data-driven educational programs.

On-site teaching 2 weekends per semester
Mentoring graduate student research
Managing doctoral research

Contributing to the development of data-driven educational programs
Qualification
Required
PhD (or equivalent) in a data-driven field such as Data Science, Computational Social Sciences (or other quantitative-focused social science field), Quantitative Economics or Finance, Applied Statistics
Graduate-Level Teaching Aptitude: A passion for teaching and the ability to engage with students
Doctoral Student Supervision: Experience or skills mentoring graduate student research and managing doctoral research
Research Experience: Evidence of research skills and experience with either academic publishing or research report/grant writing
Analytics Expertise: Expert-level knowledge in one or more of the following areas, Marketing, Time-Series/Forecasting, Finance, Health/Medical Analytics, Computer Visions, NLP/LLMs, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Spatial Analytics
Preferred
Preference for expertise in finance and/or marketing
