The Accounting Compliance Program Manager will support payroll accounting compliance activities in accordance with regulations, working closely with various teams to ensure compliance and resolve complex issues.

Responsibilities

Work closely with compensation, benefits, and accounting teams to ensure compliance with the implementation of new or expanded programs

Identify and resolve complex payroll and accounting compliance issues

Implement and monitor payroll tax payment processes and quarterly and annual payroll tax filings

Manage monthly and annual payroll-related general ledger entries, including tax postings and reconciliations

Provide active support during the annual external and internal audit processes

Develop, analyze, and communicate ad-hoc reporting in support of the Sr. Manager, Accounting compliance and accounting team

Required

Strong knowledge of employment tax rules in a complex payroll accounting environment

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Bachelor's degree in accounting

5 years of relevant experience working with payroll compliance and accounting processes, including payroll processes with a complex multi-state and organizational structure
