They are seeking a Bus Tire Service Technician to support public safety by maintaining and repairing large transit bus tires, ensuring the transit fleet operates safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Mount, balance, rotate, and repair large transit bus tires
Maintain tire equipment and tools — we count on you to keep things running smoothly
Load and unload tires and related materials
Keeping the work area clean and hazard-free — safety is always first
Participate in team meetings and stay up to date on procedures
Complete documentation and service logs accurately and on time
Use personal protective equipment and follow all safety protocols
Tackle other tasks as needed — there’s always something to learn
Qualification
Required
Relevant experience and education required
Frequent bending, lifting, and moving tires over 50 pounds (and pushing with over 100 lbs. of force)
Exposure to heat in summer, cold in winter, and common cleaning or lubrication chemicals
Comfortable working with tools and machines in a shop environment
