The Mold Crew Technician will be responsible for removing and installing molds, ensuring product quality, troubleshooting machine issues, and performing daily maintenance checks.

Responsibilities
Will be required startup operations and shutdown plant
Ensure good quality of product
Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and repair
Maintain replacement part inventories for mold change components (i.e. Nozzle assemblies, hose, etc)
Inspect mold after production for wear and/or damage and advise supervisor of needed repairs
Rebuild or replace worn or broken mold change components as needed
Perform daily mold maintenance checks (i.e. Condition of nozzle assemblies, Mold Clamps, Hose Connectors, etc.)
Adjust machine settings for proper run after mold adjustments as required
Perform all work in a neat, clean and safe manner
Perform all other duties as directed by supervisor
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED
Must have excellent communication skills
Must have good interpersonal skills
Must have own set of hand tools
Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
Knowledge of crane operations and rigging
Fork truck certification is required
Ability to be on call and work overtime as needed
Some heavy lifting required
