Responsibilities
Independently evaluate information on coverage, liability, and damages to determine the extent of exposure to the insured and the company
Attend mediations of complex claims on behalf of the company and effectively negotiate settlements
Provide outstanding customer service to, and seamlessly work with, the insured, broker, and underwriters in the handling and adjudication of claims
Analyze and draft coverage letters as appropriate and communicate coverage positions effectively both verbally and in writing
Draft reports, set reserves within the authority, or make claim recommendations concerning reserve changes
Travel to conferences, mediations, and client meetings as necessary

JD required
Typically 5-7+ years of relevant claims or legal experience
Excellent interpersonal communications and negotiation skills
Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment
