Responsibilities
Support inventory accounting and material management activities within Sage ERP
Manage and review the receipting process , ensuring accurate recording of received materials
Perform and support the 3-way match process (Purchase Order, Receipt, Vendor Invoice)
Track and manage quantities of materials ordered, received, and on hand
Work closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations to resolve quantity or cost discrepancies
Ensure inventory transactions are properly recorded in the general ledger
Assist with inventory reconciliations and variance analysis
Help maintain accurate inventory records, including adjustments and corrections as needed
Support month-end close activities related to inventory, as required
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience with Sage ERP (similar Sage inventory/accounting modules)
Strong understanding of Supply Chain and Inventory/Material Management processes
Demonstrated experience with 3-way matching (PO, receipt, invoice)
Experience tracking and managing material quantities through the ordering and receiving lifecycle
Solid accounting fundamentals related to inventory and cost tracking
Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate discrepancies
Ability to work cross-functionally with non-accounting teams
Preferred
Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or distribution environments
Experience supporting inventory audits or physical counts
Familiarity with inventory costing methods (standard, average, FIFO, etc.)
Contract or project-based accounting experience
